You will meet with your guide at the Arrival Hall of Yangon International airport. Transfer to your hotel and check in. (Check in at 14;00 noon and early check in depends on room availability).
Spend your afternoon with a short walk on the wooden bridge to line up along the Kandawgyi Lake, giving you a stunning view on the Shwedagon pagoda, but also on the royal barge, standing at the side of the lake, Karaweik. Continue your visit to Kyauk Hta Gyi Pagoda, famous for its impressive reclining Buddha. End the tour at The Shwedagon pagoda for a unique experience to discover the most venerated religious place of Myanmar. In the evening, enjoy your welcome dinner.
In the morning transfer to airport and fly to Kawthaung. Upon your arrival at airport, you will be transferred jetty and check in. After a quick lunch in the bustling town we set sail for Hastings Island. The beach is beautiful and there’s not a single footprint in the sand.
It’s a lovely trip up to the south-west of Lampi Island, where the marine national park begins. You spend the afternoon and evening in a “sea gypsy” village and making new friends. Children follow your every step and swim all the way out to the boat to say bye-bye.
Just around the corner in the next bay is a long, white beach where we enjoy a relaxed brunch. Later we cruise through a mangrove forest in our dinghy boat. In the afternoon we head north, and three hours later drop anchor in a tiny bay surrounded by forest. Hiking!
We buy fresh lobsters from a fishing boat. The wind picks up, and head out to Pila Island, a serene, lonely spot, save for some curious monkeys. You barbecue on the beach and count the stars. There’s not a single light to be seen. A genuine paradise.
You will decide to go diving and set sail for Macleod Island, which boasts a diving base. Some of you decide to stay onboard and take a Thai cooking class. Have dinner in the island’s village and round off the day with cocktails. When night falls, enjoy a last swim in the refreshing waters.
It’s time to slowly head back to the mainland. We leave early as the wind picks up and we’re all eager for one last, long sail. In the evening we drop anchor to the south of Zadetkyi Island. We have a farewell party on board without music, just listening to the sounds of the jungle.
It’s about 20 nautical miles from here to Kawthaung, which you reach in the early afternoon. Transfer to your hotel and check in. (Check in at 14;00 noon and early check in depends on room availability). The rest of the day is free in Kawthaung.
In the late afternoon transfer to airport and fly back to Yangon. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and check in. (Check in at 14;00 noon and early check in depends on room availability). Visit the famous Bogyoke Market or Scott market (closed on Mondays and Public Holidays). The complex houses hundreds of small stalls where local people use to buy jewelry, tailor made clothes is a good place to buy numerous souvenirs items to be memorials of the visit Myanmar. In the evening, enjoy your farewell dinner.
Enjoy your breakfast, transfer to Yangon airport and depart Myanmar.
